Description

HAPPY belated BIRTHDAY, :iconrui-kari:!
I'm really late @w@ but I still hope you like it!

Hyuuu~ I just love Allison and Daniel together that I can't help but draw them this way. I hope you don't mind~!
It was a bit troublesome that I didn't really know much about their personalities so I opted to go with my own headcanon. When I see the both of them, they look pretty relaxed and aloof but Dan always struck me as someone who can make Al get flustered and enjoys doing it. Like putting him in a rabu-rabu atmosphere like that and giving out comments like "Oya oya, this is a dangerous situation, isn't it?"
Uwah - I'm defiling someone else's OC!! Please correct me, Anis-chan!! @A@

W-well, I tried making their eyes bigger but it seems that somehow it just ended up looking better with this type OTL I think it's just my style or something

Fail background is complete and utter fail - I don't even...

I love this! First off, the textures used in this peice are really cool; they add a lot of character to this picture. The technique is very well done; I love the way you draw hair! There are a few minor techical details in this that could use work, however. For example, the blue-eyed person's left eye is a bit small, even when taking into account the angle that they're facing. I would suggest making the eye that's farther away from you in any 3/4ths view as tall as the closer eye, but covered ever so slightly by the bridge of the nose and maybe have the width a tad smaller. But other than that and some details in the folds of the clothes, I couldn't find any other technical mistakes.

I love their faces; their expressions are deep and meaningful. The textured orange sky is simple yet artistic. The shading is great, but I suggest to use a uniform method of shading. The skin is shaded with a hard, precise brush, while the clothes and hair is shaded with a soft brush. A great way to keep it uniform is to use both types of brushes; this adds more shape and depth to the characters without sacrificing the benefit of either method.

Overall, I think this picture is awesome; the thumbnail caught my eye immediately and when I saw that it was up for critique I couldn't help but to do so. You make excellent use of textures and you're really a great artist. I hope this critique helps!
